Top 3 CoSchedule Features To Take Your Blog Promo From Zero To Hero

It’s no secret that I’m out here multi-tasking my life in order to achieve greatness. As a full-time blogger with multiple sites, contributor to others, Ergobaby Brand Ambassador, homeschooling, sewing mom of 3, efficiency and time management are my super powers. But in this post here, we’re talking about one of the things that increases my efficiency for blogging.

CoSchedule.

Yep, that’s my not-so-secret-weapon. When I started blogging many, many years ago, all we had to do was write a post. Sometimes this post had pictures, more often it didn’t. That was it. Now? Friends. Now we have to be engaging storytellers, photographers, videographers, editors, social media marketers, and more. One of the things that helps me with this on my sites is CoSchedule.

Oh, Hello CoSchedule

CoSchedule isn’t new to the game. I signed up with them in 2015 and thought they were great. When they developed an integration to Pinterest, I thought it was amazing. But y’all, I hadn’t even tapped into an iota of the features at this point in time! I was still scheduling out social pieces one by one with efficiency not popping. Once I took the time to REALLY get to know CoSchedule on a more intimate level, I was floored at how this was going to take promoting my posts to the next level.

CoSchedule is every bloggers dream come true when it comes to maximizing productivity with minimal time. Check out the top 3 features that have made a difference for me.

I know, this is like the corniest heading ever but whatever, you get what I’m saying here. While there are really a lot of amazing features, like the integration with Pinterest, there are 3 that I’ve really found incredibly useful for efficiency sake.

Social Templates

This is honestly the biggest for me. Being able to develop a months worth of social promotion in under 15 minutes is huge. With this feature, you essentially set up standard templates for promotion. You can have multiple templates that cover different timelines. For example, I have a standard for my new blog posts. With this, there is a month of intense blog promotion on my social media outlets. I also have one for recycled posts that is also for a month but has significantly less social media posts. I also have a seasonal one where it recyles content that’s pertinent to the holidays or seasons.

Yes. It is indeed this epic.

Analytics

One of the things that brands have recently been asking me for has been analytics on campaigns. Now what this used to look like for me is chasing down each individual social media post and checking out how they did. Now? It’s in one area. Now I do still go to my analytics on each social platform for some additional insights but this has a great format that’s easy to pull to give to brands.

ReQueue

I remember when this feature came out and I was thinking to myself, “Um, this is pointless”. Until I realized that I have posts that I consistently want shared. For example, my post on natural deodorants is what I consider a living post–meaning I’ll be updating this list often. This is something that I will want shared rather often so that people can see new natural deodorants that they may need to add or not add to their arsenal of odor fighting products. This will automatically add the social promo to the queue for recycling. Automation. Yes. I’m here for it.

Again, there are MANY aspects to CoSchedule that make it appealing  but these are the top 3 that have turned me into a well-oiled machine.
